In conjunction with other telecommunications enterprises like Vodafone, Telefonica O2, France Telcom and China Mobil, Deutsche Telekom plans to launch a general download platform by the end of the year. The updated platform will include all terminals and middle content as well as Apps.
The 19-member mobile telephone group wants to compete with Apple’s download offers, primarily for the launch of the iPad in Europe. "It's about making all content available over every terminal," quotes Telekom in "Financial Times Deutschland."
